(1) Download the CAS-PEAL face database Release Agreement, read it carefully, and complete it appropriately. Note that the agreement should be signed by a full-time staff member (that is, student is not acceptable). Finally, please FAX it to Dr.Shiguang Shan by +86 10 6260 0752. Alternatively, you can scan the signed agreement and send it to sxli@jdl.ac.cn.  If you are from the mainland of China, please sign the agreement in Chinese rather than English.

Note in Chinese: 签署release agreement不能是学生，必须是研究生导师或者其他固定职位研究人员！

(2) Email Mr.Shaoxin Li to let him know the request and provide him a detailed mailing address. Then we will verify your request and contact you on how to post you a DVD package (since the whole database is more than 4GB, it is impossible to download from internet).
****Currently, to speed up the access process, we provide a reduced version of the database, which can be accessed by internet. This dataset contains all the frontal face images of the 1040 subjects in CAS-PEAL-R1, but the images are reduced to 96 by 120 pixels with left eye center (34,55) and right eye center (63,55).
