Currently I am a Ph. D candidate and research assistant majored in Computer Application, in Department of Computer Science, Harbin Institute of Technology since September 2000. As a research assistant on Computer Vision, Facial Recognition, Target Tracking and Multi-model Human-Computer Interface, I am responsible for the development of novel approaches to Face Recognition, Visual Feature Tracking and Target tracking. I am a primary researcher in several projects sponsored by Natural Sciences Fund, National 863 Hi-tech Program and some companies in IT industry.
From September 1998 to July 2000, I was studying in Harbin Institute of Technology, where I received my master degree on Electronics&Mechanics July, 1999. During the period of the pursuing the master degree, as a major researcher, I took part in several projects. My degree thesis was awarded as the rank-1 excellent one and I graduated as one rank-1 excellent graduate of HIT that year.
I received my bachelor degree for a thesis on Six-Degree Pneumatic Robot Design in Harbin Institute of Technology after four years' study in mechanics department, from September 1994 to July 1998. I have been rewarded by many scholarships in the four years and graduated as a rank-1 graduate student of HIT that year.
