I am a faculty member at the Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). As a team leader of the Digital Library Technologies (DLib) group at the Joint Research & Development Lab for Advanced Computer and Communication Technologies (JDL), I'm currently working on statistical relational learning, knowledge organization and mining, cross-media semantic analysis and multimedia retrieval. The director of our lab is Prof. Wen Gao, who was also the supervisor of my PH. D studies. For more about my research, please refer to Research.

I received my Ms. degree in computer science from University of Electronic Science and Technology, China, in 2000, and received my PH.D degree in computer science from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2005. I also served as a database designer, senior R&D engineer or project manager in several software companies respectively. During these periods, I was working on database system, data mining and decision support system in mobile and telecommunication industry. Since 2000, I have been an assistant researcher in JDL, CAS, and have obtained two patents and two software copyrights. For more about my personal information, please refer to Bio.

I have published about 30 technical articles in refereed journals and proceedings in the areas of machine learning, web mining and decision support system. For more about my publications, please refer to Publication.
